Borgia 17, Fatima 4

WESTPHALIA — With Fatima resting arms for this weekend’s Capital City Invitational, the Comets struggled to a 17-4 loss to St. Francis Borgia on Thursday.

Brady Weber took the loss by tossing four innings and allowing eight runs (four earned) on seven hits with three strikeouts and two walks.

Patrick Schnieders provided all the offense for Fatima, going 2-for-2 with four RBI, including a 3-run homer in the third inning.

Fatima (4-1) opens up Invitational play at noon today against Hickman at the American Legion Complex.
