FULTON - The Lincoln women's golf team posted a third-place finish at the 10-team William Wood Invitational on Monday and Tuesday at Tanglewood Golf Course.
William Woods won the event with a 612. Bellevue (Ill.) was second with 637 followed by Lincoln.
The Blue Tigers shot 693 and were led by Payton Schooler who shot a 163, good for 11th overall.
Kailtyn Schwartze (Fatima High School) shot 168 and finished 17th. Sophia Pardalos (Helias High School) shot 177 to finish 25th. Kara Harwood (Eldon High School) shot 185 and finished in 35th.
Columbia College's MiKayla Knaebel (Blair Oaks High School) finished 46th, shooting 211.
The Blue Tigers are back in action Monday and Tuesday in Branson.
