Helias frosh split

COLUMBIA — The Helias freshman team split a doubleheader against Rock Bridge on Wednesday.

The Bruins took the first game 7-6. Cole Johnson had three hits and two RBI for the Crusaders.

Helias won the nightcap 6-3. Johnson was the winning pitcher. He allowed three hits and struck out seven in five innings. Jacob Wolken had a double, two RBI and a run scored.

The Crusaders (7-1) play again today at Blair Oaks.
