Man charged after JC to Fulton chase

A Springfield man has been charged in connection with a weekend chase that went from Jefferson City to Fulton.

Carl Armstrong, 48, is charged with felony stealing and misdemeanor resisting arrest.

A Jefferson City Police Department statement shows Armstrong took two televisions and other items from Walmart, 401 Supercenter Drive, around 3:22 a.m. Saturday.

Jefferson City officers located Armstrong's vehicle, but he failed to stop.
