Jefferson City has started its search for a finance director once again, two weeks after the city's selection withdrew her name.
Two weeks ago, Robin Milne, then the city's planned new finance director, withdrew her name after it was discovered that a civil court judgment has required her to pay close to $13,000 for unpaid credit card debt. Milne had been set to start Oct. 1, the same day a $20,000 consulting contract goes into effect with the city's now former finance director Steve Schlueter.
Schlueter's last day as director was Friday, and his consulting contract runs through March 29, 2013.
