Former service dog enjoys retirement

Romping across a lakeside acre, fellow dogs to play with and plenty of leisure time for naps and watching Animal Planet — Eleanor is enjoying retirement.
For the last five and a half years, the 7-year-old Labrador has served as Sindy Puckett’s service dog through Leader Dog For The Blind.
Instead of being on watch for hazards and obeying commands all day, Eleanor is playing with Kendall Walz’ other two dogs — a 10-year-old yellow Labrador and a Jack Russell/terrier mix, both adopted.
She’s already had her first ....
