Airport to undergo $3.6 million rehab

Jefferson City Memorial Airport will see major work on the runways that will lead to some closures at various times.
At the Public Works and Planning Committee meeting Tuesday, Britt Smith said the city received a grant from the Missouri Department of Transportation to resurface the main runway and make repairs to the second runway. The project also includes new runway lighting and electrical upgrades.
