With state and national elections just around the corner, one of the questions frequently asked is: Are you better off now than you were four years ago?

Two ways to measure how the economy is doing is to determine if the poverty rate is increasing or decreasing, and if household income is rising or falling.

This story is an interesting contrast to Missouri's current administration paying it's upper echelon $90k /yr using the guise of needing the best and brightest to keep Missourian's employed and out of poverty. Que sera sera...

This is pathetic! Missouri is falling behind in real terms and in comparison to its neighbors.

We may have the best and brightest administrators, but what happened with all that business-friendly legislation that our General Assembly and our governor approved over those years? Why did we go downhill? Dave Spence says we need to do more, more business incentives and more tort reform. That seems counter-intuitive. When you are doing something that isn't working you need to think of something else.

Governor Holden/Blunt/Nixon isn't responding, and I can't tell them apart.
