KLB performs new CD at release party

The multi-genre “roots revivalists” known as the Kris Lager Band will perform at a CD release party at 9 p.m. tonight at The Mission in Jefferson City. There will be no cover charge.

The show comes nearly a week after releasing their new CD, “Swagadocious,” featuring 15 songs intended to get the crowd off its feet, dancing to the funky blues that the band is known for.

A touring jam band, KLB has opened for crowds of 30,000 plus, playing with Los Lonely Boys, Sharon Jones, Blues Traveler, Indigenous, and frequenting venues such as the Hard Rock Café, BB Kings and South by Southwest, as well as headlining their own shows.
