Lady Jays down Hickman in tennis

Jefferson City swept its doubles matches with Hickman and rolled to a 7-2 win Monday at Washington Park.

The teams of Eden Hoogveld and Paige Smith won 8-0, Claire Murphy and Hailey Snelle won 8-1 while Kelley Raithel and Delta Versules won 8-3.

In singles action Hoogveld (10-3), Murphy (10-4), Raithel (10-0) and Smith (10-2) were victorious.

Snellen (5-10) and Claire Shipley (3-10) lost their matches.
