JC business burglary investigated

On Sunday at 11:46 p.m. Jefferson City police officers responded to a burglar alarm at Vandelicht Jewelry, 3701 W. Truman Blvd.
Upon officer’s arrival they found that the front glass had been broken out and entry to the business had been made.
Officers found a large rock inside the business that was probably used to break the glass.
The loss during this incident was mainly damage to property as very little inventory was taken.
The investigation is continuing.
