The cold snap in Jefferson City's weather did not dampen the weekend’s events at the Missouri State Penitentiary.
On Friday evening, a crowd gathered to watch “The Last Castle,” in A-Hall, and then many listened to a performance by Keota and The Hipnecks.
Ryan Winkler, communications manager for the Jefferson City Convention and Visitors Bureau, said the “Inside the Walls Festival,” was a family-friendly event that allowed people of all ages to learn more about the prison site, and its rich history.
