City's 2013 plan features deeper cuts than previous years

The Jefferson City Council is poised to approve the 2013 city budget Monday after spending more than one month in work sessions.

The more than $31 million dollar balanced budget involved deeper cuts than in previous years and forced the mayor and council to debate various programs and services within the city.
