Jefferson City closer to issuing RFPs for conference center

Council could give go-ahead to issue request for proposals Oct. 1

Jefferson City is trying to get closer to a conference center with requests for proposals that could go out in early October.

City Administrator Nathan Nickolaus sent a draft of a request for proposals to the City Council on Sept. 2, indicating he would ask the council for a motion to approve the draft and move forward at the council meeting Sept. 4.
