COLUMBIA, Mo. — Eric Menkhus grew up in St. Louis and remembers coming to Missouri football games during the Woody Widenhofer era. Still, this is the first time the Arizona State graduate has been to Columbia to tailgate for a game.

Menkhus and a traveling band of Sun Devil enthusiasts, known as the “Moustache Nation,” set up shop on a grassy patch just outside Mizzou Arena. The ASU flag near the stadium entrance makes this area of the MU campus, temporarily, Sun Devil territory.
