The Show-Me Showboaters Barbershop Chorus will have their fall show on Saturday (Sept. 15) at the Miller Performing Arts Center in Jefferson City. The theme for the show is “Flash Back — the best of the Show-Me Showboaters.”
“We’ll perform some audience favorites and a couple of new songs as well,” said group spokesman Jim Carlson.
Several groups will join the Showboaters on stage — Jefferson City High School Chorale and Quartets, Monticello Mid-Missouri Men’s Chorus and the Liberte Women’s Ensemble.
Saturday's show will start at 7:30 p.m., but the doors open around 6:45 p.m. This is a free admission event; donations will be accepted.
Carlson said after the show, across the street from the Miller Center at Central Motor Bank, the chorus will do an after show or “Afterglow,” where people can socialize and enjoy beverages.
