Helias, So. Boone ranked in state soccer poll

Two area teams are ranked and two others are receiving votes in the first state boys soccer poll of the season.

The Helias Crusaders are tied for eighth in Class 2, while the Southern Boone Eagles are No. 3 in Class 1. The Jefferson City Jays are receiving votes in Class 3, as are the Fatima Comets in Class 1.

The rankings are compiled by the Missouri State High School Soccer Coaches Association.
