After completing a six-month tour of duty in Afghanistan, 33 Missouri National Guardsmen, known as Agribusiness Development Team VI, were welcomed home Wednesday morning by family and friends gathered in the courtyard of the Ike Skelton Training Center.

Both soldiers and family members alike remarked that being together again felt surreal after months of separation.

Suzy Wilson, mother of 1st Lt. Chris Wilson, said she just couldn't stop patting her son on his shoulders. "It's just such a relief," she said. "We can all take a deep breath now."
