Apple's 6 product updates, at a glance

NEW YORK (AP) - Apple's iPhone 5 got the attention, but the company made several other product announcements Wednesday. Here are the highlights:

- iPhone 5. A taller, thinner phone with access to fast new wireless data networks. Goes on sale Sept. 21 in the U.S. and eight other countries, starting at $199.

- 5th-generation iPod Touch. Same build as the new iPhone. Available in October starting at $299. It will co-exist with the cheaper, existing iPod Touch.

- 7th-generation iPod Nano. Much larger than the old model, but thinner. The 2.5-inch display now plays video. Available in October for $149.

- New iTunes. Arriving in October, this free software update for Macs and Windows PC will have a cleaner look and integrate more closely with Apple's iCloud online storage service.

- iOS 6. The new version of Apple's operating system was announced in June, but Apple revealed Wednesday when it will become available for download: on Sept. 19. It will contain a new mapping application, replacing Google Maps, and tighter integration with Facebook.

- EarPods. Apple has redesigned the classic white earbuds that ship with its products, for a better fit in the ear. They're on sale separately for $29.
