Former Jay sidelined

The college football season’s barely begun, but it’s already over for a former Jefferson City Jay.

University of Arkansas redshirt freshman running back Kody Walker left with an injury during the No. 8 Razorbacks’ 34-31 upset loss in overtime to Louisiana-Monroe.

Arkansas coach John L. Smith said Walker “suffered a lower leg injury and is likely out for the season.”
