New charges filed against Mo. homicide suspect

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (AP) - One of five men charged in a 2011 shooting death in St. Joseph faces additional criminal counts.

The St. Joseph News-Press (http://bit.ly/QsHAjw) reported that 17-year-old Elijah Pickett was charged Friday with two counts of armed criminal action and one count each of first-degree burglary and attempted robbery.

He previously was charged with second-degree murder and armed criminal action in the August 2011 death of Brian Ulmer.
