WARDSVILLE — Spearheaded by a dominating defensive effort in the second half, the Blair Oaks Falcons broke open a close game and dropped the Hallsville Indians 34-14 on Friday night at the Falcon Athletic Complex.
Trailing 14-13 at the break, the Falcons came out and allowed just 3 total yards to the Indians in the second half and pulled away for the victory.
“I’m proud of our kids,” Blair Oaks coach Brad Drehle said. “It’s a good win, it’s a quality win, it’s a district opponent, a quality district opponent.”
