Two charged after search of home

Narcotics, including methamphetamines and marijuana, were discovered along with stolen firearms at a home in the 3600 block of County Road 4006 in Holts Summit.

The Mustang Drug Task Force was assisted by the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office, the Jefferson City Police Department, and SWAT and K-9 units to execute the search warrant Thursday.

Kevin Hiatte, 45, and Melissa Hiatte, 46, both were arrested. He is charged with possession of controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and warrant tampering. She is charged with possession of controlled substance and possession of marijuana. A court date has been set for 9 a.m. Sept. 21.
