The Lindenwood Lions put on an air show. Lincoln tried its best to keep up with their potent passing attack, even going punch-for-punch in the first half. Then came the final 30 minutes of play.
Lindenwood pulled away in the second half behind the arm of quarterback Ben Gomez as the Lions defeated Lincoln 49-28 on a rainy Saturday afternoon at Dwight T. Reed Stadium in Jefferson City.
