WARDSVILLE, Mo. - As principal at Blair Oaks Elementary School, Kimberly Rodriguez now bleeds green.

She started in August, after having spent four years as principal at Hale School District, near her native Brookfield, Mo.

This is her 14th year as an educator. She has worked as a special-education teacher and reading coach.

“I love my job,” Rodriguez said.
