SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) — Springfield police are investigating the fatal shooting of a 24-year-old man.
The Springfield News-Leader (http://sgfnow.co/O5aVWr) reported that Marcus L. Wells was shot early Saturday morning at an apartment. He died at a Springfield hospital.
No one was immediately arrested.
The apartment building owner, Russ Meck, says he didn't know if Wells lived in the building. He says there haven't been a lot of police calls to the address.
