Dear Editor:
President Obama's socialistic/Marxist policies threaten the continued existence of a free America. Let's have a little review of just what Obama has done in the past four years. He has increased spending by more than 20 percent, mortgaged our future and allowed our debt to balloon to over 16 trillion. Only an economic moron could possibly believe that we can perpetually sustain a staggering debt like that which continues to grow.
I remember how angry many were in the Bush years and said he had to go because of his monstrous debt. They should be even angrier at Obama who has far surpassed Bush's debt. And now there are 23 million out of work and the median income has dropped by $4,300. The unemployment rate for most of the last four years has been over 8 percent.
Obama is leading the assault on the family structure in America by his relentless push for "gay rights" and "abortion rights." Under the pretense of a "woman's right to choose" thousands of babies have been murdered.
Under Obama we have allowed ourselves to become reduced to Patrick Henry's cry of "Give me liberty or give me death" to the whining idea that we are all owed something. Under Obama we have gone from being defenders of freedom to being told that we are the problem as evidenced by his apology tour.
Obama has undermined the sacrifices of American veterans who gave their lives for our flag, our Constitution and our liberty so that others might be free.
I wonder what our fallen soldiers would think if they could see the response from our weak president when our ambassador to Libya and three others were murdered, our flag burned and spit on and Obama hindering the ongoing investigation.
The most serious menace confronting America is not the possibility of economic collapse but the decay of Christianity. And Obama is leading this anti-Christian assault. Wherever Christ disappears forces hostile poisonous weeds of godlessness and tyranny begin to flourish. Daniel Webster said "if we abide by the posterity neglect its instructions and authority, no man can tell how sudden a catastrophe may overwhelm and bury our glory in profound obscurity."
Obama is a national disgrace.
