Helias dominates play, wins 1-0

One was enough.

After Brett Jackson put Helias on top with a fantastic individual effort less than four minutes into the contest, it appeared the Crusaders were about to roll to a multitude of goals.

While Helias sent a barrage of shots toward the Sedalia Sacred Heart goal, the Crusaders couldn't find the back of the net again.

It didn't matter, though, as Helias closed out its regular season with a 1-0 victory Thursday night at the 179 Soccer Park.

"I thought we'd get more after the first goal," Helias coach Chuck Register said. "We had some opportunities right after that. I think T.J. (Prenger) just missed a header up front. You get those opportunities, we've just got to find a way to put the ball in the back of the net. It makes for less gray hairs on the sideline."
