Four nabbed for Maries Co. burglary

Maries County Sheriff’s deputies have identified and arrested four burglary suspects after their photos were shown in the local media.

Sheriff Chris Heitman said the department received numerous calls to help identify the suspects, which helped them make the arrests. The photos were obtained from surveillance video after a camera was set up at a location that had been burglarized several times.

Deputies arrested:

• Kenneth D. Frazee, 35 of Rolla, for burglary. Frazee has been on parole for a burglary charge.

• Barbara A. Jenkins, 39 of Dixon, for burglary.

• Brandon P. Veasman, 33 of St. Louis, for burglary. Veasman has been on parole for drug and stealing charges.

• Curtis W. Winters , 33 of Dixon, for burglary.

Jenkins, Winters and Veasman were released from the Maries County Jail after each posted a $20,000 bond. Frazee remained in the jail on Sunday night with bond set at $50,000.

Several thousands of dollars worth of property was stolen from a residence on Maries County Road 624 near Dixon, and the thieves caused extensive property damage.

Heitman said the department has identified a fifth suspect who remains at large.
