Lady Jays finish tennis season at Final Four

SPRINGFIELD — The Jefferson City Lady Jays dropped a pair of matches and finished fourth in the Class 2 State Team Tennis Championships on Thursday.

In Thursday morning’s semifinal match, the Lady Jays dropped a 5-0 decision to Rock Bridge.

At No. 1 singles, Sophi Farid topped Eden Hoogveld 6-4, 6-2, while Phoebe Boeschen dropped Claire Murphy 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2.
