Tigers ranked 17th in preseason coaches poll

The Missouri basketball team has some lofty expectations to live up to. The Tigers come in at No. 17 in the preseason USA Today/ESPN Coaches Poll released Monday.

Missouri, which ended last season 30-5, received 289 points.

Indiana is ranked No. 1 after receiving 21 first-place votes. The Hoosiers are followed by Louisville in second, and defending national champion Kentucky in third.
