CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. — Jefferson City’s Brooke Thompson opened the Class 2 state golf tournament with a 92 Thursday at the Dalhouide Golf Club. She is currently tied for 28th.
Helias’ Jenna Kosmatka shot a 96 and sits in a tie for 41st.
The second and final round is today. Thompson is set to tee off at 10 a.m. while Kosmatka tees off at 9:51 a.m.
