Jones set to be inducted into Missouri Sports Hall of Fame

The last four days have been special for Mike Jones.

It started when his Lincoln football team picked up its first victory of the season on Saturday. It gets even better today when Jones is inducted into the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame.

The ceremony at 11 a.m. today in Springfield welcomes Jones and former St. Louis Ram teammate Trent Green into the state’s Hall of Fame, as well as naming former Rams’ head coach Dick Vermeil the 24th Missouri Sports Legend.
