7 nabbed at underage drinking party

The Cole County Sheriff’s Department is continuing its investigation into an underage drinking party that occurred this past weekend. Deputies said they were sent to 11326 Sandy Fork Road, in reference to an underage party, about 10:55 p.m. Friday.

A large number of people ran into the woods to evade the deputies when they arrived on the scene.

Seven people — five adults and two juveniles — were issued a summons for minor in possession.
