Pregnancy Help Center hopes to fulfill budget with banquet, auction

‘We’re there to give them an option’

From volunteer hours to financial support, a broad section of the community stepped up a little more than a year ago to create the Pregnancy Help Center of Central Missouri in Jefferson City.

To nurture the like-minded mission and encourage continued support, the Second Annual Banquet for Life will begin at 6:45 p.m. Thursday at the Truman Hotel, 1501 Jefferson St.

Ideally, the board would like to raise the full $80,000 to cover the annual operating budget costs, said Chairman James Jackson.
