Helias frosh win title

WAYNESVILLE, Mo. — The Helias Lady Crusaders freshman A team captured the title Saturday at the Waynesville Freshman Tournament.

Helias defeated Fatima (25-16, 16-25, 27-25) in the title match after besting Borgia (25-10, 25-14) and Buffalo (25-5, 25-10) previously in bracket play.

In pool play, Helias defeated Sullivan (25-7, 25-13) and Rolla (25-14, 25-15) and split with Fatima (25-10, 24-26).
