The sounds are unmistakable - a thundering thud, followed by a swish of a net.
It's a shot by Marcus Woodruff that finds the back of the goal.
Woodruff, a Jefferson City junior, scored three goals Thursday night to lead the Jays in a 4-2 victory over the Camdenton Lakers at the 179 Soccer Park. It was Woodruff's seventh hat trick of the season to run extend his school-record season total to 27 goals.
"That's crazy," Jays coach Eddie Horn said. "What he's done so far this season is really something."
