Softball sectionals set for today

Four are looking to get to the Final Four.

Four area teams — Blair Oaks, Fatima, South Callaway and St. Elizabeth — are scheduled to start the state softball playoffs with sectional games today.

• Blair Oaks (20-7) will host Sullivan (18-8) in Class 3 action at the Falcon Athletic Complex.

• Fatima (20-4) will travel to Higginsville to take on Lafayette County (17-3) in a Class 2 matchup.

• South Callaway (18-8) will play at Jefferson: Festus (12-9) in another Class 2 contest.

• St. Elizabeth (19-4) begins defense of its Class 1 state championship with a home contest against Montrose/Appleton City (11-8).
