A Columbia remodeling contractor has won StartUp Jeff City's business plan competition by pitching a "cleaner more efficient way to paint" - but he's remaining coy about the plan's specifics.
Dyarl (pronounced Daryl) Lewis won Saturday's Pitch It & Win It competition, earning him $2,000 cash and various other donated prizes.
"I was thrilled," he said in a Tuesday phone interview. "I had absolutely no expectations of winning."
