Tipton now second in Class 1 football

The Tipton Cardinals continue to inch closer to the No. 1 high school football ranking in Class 1.

The Cardinals moved up to No. 2 after a 55-17 win against Cole Camp on Friday night. Tipton, which was ranked third last week, is 18 points behind Hamilton, which received all 14 first-place votes this week.

Elsewhere there were no drastic changes among ranked area schools.
