I hope the city gets ZERO responses to its RFP.

A tiny little conference center is a very bad idea and a huge waste of tax dollars.

This is a loser little town, and the way it thinks it will always be a loser little town.

The mayor should back off this crazy idea. The council should not back any of this foolishness.

The city administrator should be replaced.

What is supposed to come of this conference center. I'm not in favor of it really. The only benefit I would receive is possibly being able to park in the propsed parking garage. But I'm sure that would fall flat...only allowing administrative level positions park there, etc. I never really heard what the conference center is supposed to provide the city that the current hotels that have accomodations can't.
