Jefferson City, Helias meet tonight in soccer showdown

Bragging rights are fine. But there’s more than that on the line tonight when the Jefferson City Jays and Helias Crusaders square off at the 179 Soccer Park.

For the Jays (13-3), it’s a chance to see how they respond after a big win at state-ranked C.B.C. last week and with the Art Firley Shootout coming up this weekend.

For the Crusaders (7-5-1, ranked No. 8 in Class 2), it’s an opportunity to test themselves against a Jays team playing a more offensive style than in past meetings.
