‘Pitch It & Win It’ awards $2,000 in seed capital to entrepreneur

One entrepreneur is getting closer to starting a new business, thanks to the Pitch It & Win It event sponsored by StartUp Jefferson City.

The event, held at the Capital Event Center on Saturday, featured 16 entrepreneurs presenting their various business or invention ideas. Mike Honeywell, one of the event’s organizers, said each person participating came out of the event with some type of feedback or new ideas to help make their pitch even better in the future.
