LU Homecoming to be a ‘Family Reunion’

Today marks the beginning of Lincoln University’s Homecoming Week — with “Family Reunion” as the theme.

Nearly all of Jefferson City’s hotel operators said last week they already were full, either with LU’s Homecoming visitors or, in come cases, LU fans plus those coming to Mid-Missouri for the University of Missouri home game against Alabama.

Saturday’s 2 p.m. LU Homecoming game features LU’s Blue Tigers against the University of Nebraska-Kearney’s Lopers.

But, before the kickoff, the week promises a variety of other events and activities for students and alumni alike.
