Holts Summit man charged with giving minor drugs

A Holts Summit man is being held in the Cole County Jail on $100,000 on a charge of distributing a controlled substance to a minor in Jefferson City.
Zachary Fewins, 20, is believed to have given the narcotic klonopin to a 16-year-old male Thursday.
According to a Jefferson City Police Department probable cause statement, officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Belair where they found the 16-year-old unconscious in a bathtub. The juvenile was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
He told officers Fewins gave him the drug.
The juvenile said he cut up the pills and snorted them, then took some orally.
Fewins is currently going through drug court and has prior drug arrests.
