Missouri freshman receiver Dorial Green-Beckham was among three University of Missouri football players arrested late Wednesday on suspicion of marijuana possession.
University of Missouri Police Capt. Brian Weimer said Green-Beckham, freshman receiver Levi Copelin and freshman linebacker Torey Boozer were parked in a 2004 white Lincoln Navigator on Wednesday before midnight in Lot G south of Faurot Field when officers approached the vehicle. The officers then determined there was possession of marijuana.
The three were arrested and later released on a summons of possessing less than 35 grams of marijuana.
On Thursday, the Columbia Police Department said the vehicle was registered to Green-Beckham.
University officials announced the three have been suspended for Saturday’s game against Vanderbilt.
