Crusaders achieve their goals in game with Bulldogs

The Helias Crusaders had a couple of goals in mind Thursday night.

First and foremost, get a win against the Mexico Bulldogs at the 179 Soccer Park. But the Crusaders also wanted to use the competitive environment to work on a few things as the season starts to come to a close.

“We wanted to work on a little bit of everything,” Helias coach Chuck Register said after the Crusaders’ 2-1 victory over the Bulldogs. “This was a good time for us to work on things for the tough games we have coming up.”

It was a win-win.
