City to LU, JCTV: Raise money

JCTV is looking to increase fundraising efforts amid warnings from Jefferson City the contract may be terminated in spring.

Apologizing in advance for “harsh words,” City Administrator Nathan Nickolaus on Thursday informed JCTV that without a financial show of community support, the city would end its contract with the station, terminating the station’s operations unless Lincoln University steps forward to provide funding.

The station might work a whole lot better in a Career Education setting at Nichols Career Center.
