Dear Editor:
Voters were quick to ignore Barack Obama's radial background and elected the first American black president. He never told us what "hope and change" meant. That was left to our imaginations.
Since the president announced the fundamental transformation of America, the percentage of people in poverty has increased, the average income of families has gone down each of the last four years, more people are unemployed than four years ago, and food prices are higher partly because of his energy policies. Gas prices have more than doubled. Businesses are not hiring because of the promise of staggering new taxes and regulations. Barack Obama is inept or this is part of his "hope and change." Neither is good for America.
Personal freedom and economic freedom go hand in hand. Both are taken for granted until they are gone. Americans have died defending the cause of freedom since 1776. Voters who want another term for President Obama, so that he can complete his fundamental transformation of America may as well stomp on those Americans "graves." Barack Obama does not believe in economic freedom. His new campaign slogan is "forward" and he is counting on your lack of knowledge. Look past the "D" he is running under and know what this man stands for.
If he fools you a second time, shame on you.
