The Jefferson City Fire Department officials are reminding residents there will be several public events to mark their 100th anniversary this weekend:
• On Friday, Jefferson City's South Side Business Association and the Old Munichburg Association will host a street fair on Dunklin Street between Jefferson and Madison streets to celebrate the centennial.
• At 10 a.m. on Saturday, a fire service parade will be downtown Jefferson City.
The parade will start at High and Broadway streets and go east down High to Lafayette Street, where it will then turn north over to Capitol Avenue and go back west, ending at the Capitol.
